Don’t Wait Too Long

This was a window display for a kitchen supply store, back in the dog days of summer when the temperatures made you feel almost as desperate as this guy. What I see is what remains of someone who almost made it. What I think is that you shouldn't wait too long to go after what you need to make life worth while.

Perfect! This was me all summer, trying to get through the record breaking heat in Texas. I can certainly relate to the photo–and the sentiment.

I bet you did feel like that! There were many days when I didn’t think I’d make it out alive due to the heat and humidity here. I can’t imagine what it was like in Texas.

Believe me, you don’t WANT to imagine what it was like down here! Just keep posting snow pictures. Summer will be here again soon enough!

It’s funny you say that! I keep wanting to post every old snow picture that I come across. They are just so appealing right now.

We’re having a very mild winter, with temps in the 50′s and 60′s, and almost no nights below freezing. It’s great running weather, and I’m not complaining, but I miss winter. Daffodils are already blooming.
